WHAT IS MEDITATION?
Meditation is awareness. It is an approach to training the mind, the practice of turning one’s attention to a single point of reference. It can involve focusing on the breath, sensations within the body, or a word or phrase such as a mantra or incantation. The practice of meditation brings attention away from distracting thoughts to focus on the present moment. A practice that brings you to literally, “Come to your senses.”
